- Biography
- First and foremost, PanzerBastard are NOT a political band so fuck off! If hating EVERYONE makes you racist/political, then we’re guilty as charged!! We’re politically incorrect and proud! PanzerBastard formed in 200666 by a group of asshole-metalheads from various bands in the New England area with a shared interest in extreme music in all its forms… PanzerBastard have released three demos, the first being a four song 7″ called “Boston” released by Fighting Boys Records in 2007 (I think) and the second was a 6 song EP / Split that was half released as a split with Hungarian grind kings, Gyalazat on GETUPANDKILL Records and half released by the band as Demo II/”Bastards Die Hard”. Our third demo is out NOW on PATAC Records in both digipack and LP formats.

“The dirge-like title track closes out this EP with its powerful, intoning atmosphere that hints of ancient mysteries and war-mongering madness. All though it is my least favorite track on the album, ‘Centurion’ reminds us again that PanzerBastard is not a one-trick-pony afraid to step outside of their comfort zone and lay down the fucking law. In the all too brief sixteen minutes of Centurion, PanzerBastard show more spirit, diversity and aggression than the majority of ‘bands’ do in their entire careers.” – Sleepwalker – Forbidden Magazine
- ““DAMN!!!!!”, this is some heavy and great hardcore/crust/metal noise!!!!! Whether your poison is death/crust/grind/sludge this one will quench you need for brutality and one hell of a violent drunken rage soundtrack. While working on a new album, touring with other diabolical acts like Hellbastard these guys also manage to throw in two undeniably worthy covers of Celtic Frost ( “I Won’t Dance” and “The Usurper”), so if the mention of CF gets to you like it does for me… check this band out for sure!!!! There’s enough Crowbar, Dead Kennedy’s, and Celtic Frost here to spread the plague for millions of years so crank it loud and tear the place apart.” – Janet Willis – HELLRIDE MUSIC
- “What PanzerBastard are is a fusion of heavy metal and punk. If you like bands such as Motorhead and Venom, you should definitely check this band out. I was surprised to see two Celtic Frost cover songs on this EP: I Won’t Dance and The Usurper. After hearing them, I was very pleased with the outcome. Life Waster and Centurion were impressive songs with a very Slayer and Venom-esque sound. If you like your punk and heavy metal loud, you should check this band out. The best band I have reviewed so far.” – Matt Jerauld – STEREO KILLER

“PanzerBastard are doing punk the way it should be done. Fast, angry, unpretentious and aggressive music with a heavy dose of metal influence and a tinge of hardcore. ” – Thrash Magazine

“These guys are pissed and they want everyone to know about it. ” – Lords Of Metal

“There are a few reference points to consider when forming a thrashtastic crust band; the chief one being how much do you want to sound like Discharge, Motorhead and Extreme Noise Terror. The answer, of course, is as much as possible, and all these legendary noise exploiters are to be found splattered across the songs in this collection of EPs by Boston’s brilliantly named Panzerbastard. There are also whispers of black metal and a touch of early Anthrax lurking in the d-beat mayhem. The difference between Panzerbastard and the millions of d-beat/crust thrashers is that they have a quality control button turned way up to the highest setting; so no poorly recorded, loose, chaotic punk thrash here, just well-produced, tight, aggressive, hardcore motorcrust, full of slam dancing, headbanging, fist in the air qualities that shoot to kill at twenty paces. 8 out of 10.” – Alex Boniwell – Terrorizer!
