TNB is forever dedicated to forging new horizons in the quest for illumination into the future of music for our viewers. In the past we have covered space age rodeos, riveting raucous raves and today we continue in that tradition by presenting a show that endeavors to combine puppet mastery with the virtuoso of blues guitar along with the heart stopping theatrics of a hardcore show.
As always we warn against others trying dual texting on their own as it has been proven to cause gingivitis and perpetual, incendiary flatulence.
So sit back, cool your power jets for a moment and breathe in deep the wild, free wind of an experience known to the cultured and privileged as dual texting.
Slimedog- Where should I put my puppets?
Andy- What puppets? You brought puppets?
Slimedog- Correct me if I’m wrong. But the punk matinee got cancelled and instead there’s a puppet show blues jam?
Andy- Well that sounds exciting. What puppets did you bring?
Slimedog- My electric space puppets from Spain.
Andy- Oh really, they’re my favorite. You know I once had a relationship with a puppet, but it got stuck in my butt by accident. Hey, who’s that band taking the stage?
Slimedog- It must be a blues band but they’re lacking puppets.
Andy- It almost looks like Tensor, but they’re missing a member.
Slimedog- And also several puppets, but I’m glad to hear them, though. Tensor is a great punk and hardcore band.
Andy- True, they still sound great as a trio.
Slimedog- Yeah, just as good. The singer is playing bass. My puppets got so excited they went to mosh on their own!
Andy- Hmm, that’s a lot of wood flying around. They’d better be careful.
Slimedog- After the set, I and Crazy Jay Genoa went to talk to them about Ian from S.F.O. who is looking to play bass for a band. They just contacted him and he joined!
Andy- Cool! Well it looks like another band’s gettin’ ready to play.
Slimedog- Yeah, RF30. They’re a blues trio with puppets from New Hampshire.
Andy- They sound more like reggae punk.
Slimedog- Yeah, you’re right. A mix of hardcore and reggae and usually in the same song. I haven’t seen them in a while. They’re an excellent band and offer a nice change of pace.
Andy- Hey, where did the puppets go that were moshing?
Slimedog- They’re over there trying to pick up those cute marionettes.
Andy- I hope there’s no strings attached or things could get tangled…. Uh … hem, well then, moving right along. RF30 is finished and it looks like another band is ready to do some spouting.
Slimedog- Puppets are always spouting wood. Indeed it’s time for The Muppets!

Andy- The front Muppet has a very interesting voice. Kinda reminds me of The Titanics.
Slimedog- I gotta get my eyeballs checked. It’s The Black Cheers and the singer sounds like Bon Scott from AC/DC.
Andy- They have a nice vibe with lots of energy.
Slimedog- I really like them. I think of them as a rock’n’roll band with punk vocals. Really catchy songs and a great drummer.
Andy- With vocals like that it’s hard to go wrong. Wooah, I think one of your puppets just grabbed my ass.
Slimedog- He was just trying to be helpful by giving you a free prostrate exam.
Andy- Hmm, I guess that’s okay then. Who’s taking the stage now? Looks like a lot of folks.
Slimedog- Hopefully puppets! I believe its Sober Robb and The Sodas.
Andy- They have a keyboard! That’s not something you see much of these days. Maybe they’re a Rick Wakeman tribute band. (Keyboardist for Yes and Slimedog’s least favorite keyboardist of all time)
Slimedog- No Drunk Robb & The Shots are a high energy rock’n’roll band. Not exactly punk but a lot of fun. Hey, Robb is using his mike to play slide on the guitarist’s axe.
Andy- I see what you mean. And the puppets are really diggin’ them as well.
Slimedog- Yeah, this is the best I’ve seen them. Doesn’t seem to be any puppet shows today but at least we have Cape Cod’s finest blues band, Fast Times, next.
Andy- That’s right it’s finally taco time! (Their best song)
Slimedog- Yeah actually they’re one of the Cape’s finest hardcore punk bands and today they’re letting everyone, including the puppets, know why.
Andy- They sound awesome. Let’s go stage dive with the puppets.
Slimedog- Yeah, if they can do it so can we. Hey, Catherine from The Old Edison is slamming into me. Doesn’t she know I’m a delicate flower? I knew the guys would leave me alone.
Andy- Whoops. I think I just broke one of your puppets.
Slimedog- Oh, No! You’re a doctor do something.
Andy- Okay, let me try a little mouth to wood resuscitation…he seems to be responding, but I thing I got a splinter in my bottom lip.
Slimedog- What an exciting finish to a great show. And do you know what happens here December 14th?
Andy- No, what?
Slimedog- Thrash N Bang’s Annual Xmas Party- this year with Rammstein, The Spice Girls and Kenny Rogers.
Andy- Wow that’s awesome. Can we also get Miley Cyrus on the bill.
Slimedog- Ah, maybe, we’ll see if TJ can bring in a wrecking ball. There’ll be many more bands to follow and remember unlimited Free Pizza!
